History

  • Start

I started my career in Zwolle, where I immersed myself in warehouse automation at Wartsila, gaining invaluable practical experience. I then transitioned to managing service activities in the BENELUX region for SSI-Schaefer, also handling TGW Equipment.

  • Experience

My logistics journey kicked off with the automation of a warehouse in Zwolle alongside SSI Schaefer. This warehouse utilized hardware from TGW, and at that time, neither party had a presence in the Netherlands. This unique situation afforded me the opportunity to offer Dutch guidance and training on projects involving both suppliers.
After seven years, I transitioned within SSI Schaefer, tasked with familiarizing myself with the market's service landscape and establishing a local service organization. Eventually, I took on the responsibility of managing the BENELUX Service organization.
Eleven years into my career, I was called upon to leverage my expertise in constructing a fully automated warehouse for a major pharmaceutical player, Apo Logistics. This endeavor provided invaluable insights from various suppliers including Auto-store (Element logic), Right Hand Robotics, Klinkhammer, Agilox, Lantech, Knapp, Cargofloor, Weber, Savoye, and more.
Despite the technical challenges, I found myself yearning for the relational aspects of my work. This sentiment didn't go unnoticed within my extensive network, leading to an opportunity to work in Belgium. There, my focus was on supporting the handover process for one of the largest food and beverage projects, led by Dematic.

  • Growth

Through past experiences, my skills have seen significant growth. Over the years, I've come to realize that my extensive knowledge can bring value to your business at various levels. The rapid evolution of logistics and technology excites me, and I'm eager to embark on this journey with you to deliver results.
This is precisely why Dutch Warehouse Consultancy came into being. Collaborating towards a common goal consistently yields impressive outcomes. After all, service is all about delivering added value.
